When is the best time to book train tickets in Europe?

Most European train companies issue tickets 90 days in advance
Eurostar and Deutsche Bahn issue tickets 180 days in advance
French international trains (ie Paris-Amsterdam) issue tickets 120 days in advance
Eastern European countries issue tickets just 60 days in advance.
Prices tend to be higher during peak months (ie summer and Christmas), so booking Euro train tickets as soon as they are released will help keep costs down.
