GoEuro Travel GmbH, doing business as Omio, formerly known as GoEuro, is a German online travel comparison and booking website based in Berlin, Germany. It was founded in 2013 as GoEuro by Naren Shaam. Omio employs more than 300 people and is active in 37 countries globally. The website is available in 21 languages. It offers travelers the ability to organize transportation requirements such as trains, planes, buses, etc by using their easy-to-use platform. It covers 207 European airports, over ten thousand central bus stations, and over twenty thousand train stations

When is the best time to book train tickets in Europe?
- Most European train companies issue tickets 90 days in advance
- Eurostar and Deutsche Bahn issue tickets 180 days in advance
- French international trains (ie Paris-Amsterdam) issue tickets 120 days in advance
- Eastern European countries issue tickets just 60 days in advance.
- Prices tend to be higher during peak months (ie summer and Christmas), so booking Euro train tickets as soon as they are released will help keep costs down.
- If you are booking a short-distance or inter-city train within Europe, these tickets can be purchased on the day of travel, as fares change less.
