What is BahnCard 100?
BahnCard (German Bahn – Rail) is a discount subscription programme offered by Deutsche Bahn (DB), the German national railway company. Three variants of BahnCard are sold by Deutsche Bahn: The BahnCard 25, the BahnCard 50, and the BahnCard 100. The BahnCard 100 allows unlimited travel on the entire Deutsche Bahn network and 109 local public transport networks across Germany. The card itself is valid as a ticket; no additional paper ticket needs to be issued. Sleeper trains are excluded from the card, but can be used for a small surcharge.

1. How to cancel BahnCard 50?
- Log in to your customer account.
- Click on the “BahnCard” menu item
- Click “Options”.
- You will receive information there as to whether termination is possible.
- If cancellation is possible, confirm the “Cancel BahnCard” button.
Note: You can cancel your BahnCard 25 or 50 in text form up to 6 weeks before the end of the term.
2.Where to use BahnCard 50?
- You can use ICE or IC/EC, ÖBB nightjet trains (reservation may be required) and local transport trains (IRE, RE, RB, S-Bahn).
- In some associations, holders of the BahnCard 25 and 50 are offered discounts on network fares.
- If the BahnCard is validated on the desired connection, the discount is automatically deducted at the time of booking.
- The digital BahnCard can be used for various state fares and transport associations.
